Basketball Recap: Lake Mills Takes a Loss

Lake Mills was the 48-42 winner over Sauk Prairie when they last played one another back in January of 2024, but their luck changed this time around. The Lake Mills L-Cats were beaten by the Sauk Prairie Eagles 53-18 on Tuesday. The game marked the L-Cats' lowest-scoring matchup so far this season.

Lake Mills dropped their record down to 3-17 with the loss, which was their tenth straight on the road dating back to last season. As for Sauk Prairie, their win bumped their record up to 10-8.

Lake Mills is taking a road trip to square off against Poynette at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday. Poynette will roll in looking for their ninth straight victory, something Lake Mills surely won't give up without a fight. As for Sauk Prairie, they will be playing at home against Portage at 7:15 p.m. on Friday. Sauk Prairie is facing Portage at the right time seeing as Portage is stuck on a six-game losing streak.
