Basketball Recap: Coppell Comes Up Short

Coppell lost against Hebron back in January, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Coppell Cowboys fell 45-34 to the Hebron Hawks. The loss was a bit of a surprise, as the Cowboys came into the matchup with a sizable advantage in MaxPreps' Texas basketball rankings (they are ranked 112th, while the Hawks are ranked 256th).

Coppell's loss dropped their record down to 11-9. As for Hebron, the win got them back to even at 7-7.

Coppell will challenge Guyer at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Hebron, they will square off against Marcus at 5:45 p.m. on Friday. Marcus will roll in looking for their fourth straight victory, something Hebron surely won't give up without a fight.
