Volleyball Recap: Edwards County Lions vs. Robinson Maroons
Edwards County came tearing into Saturday's matchup with three straight wins , and they left with even more momentum. They walked away with a 2-0 win over the Robinson Maroons. That's more bragging rights for the Lions, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.

Leading Edwards County to victory were Jaycee Kolb and Braelyn Troyer. Kolb had four digs and two aces, while Troyer had four digs and two assists. Those two assists gave Troyer a new career-high. Allison Groff also deserves some recognition as she served her first ace of the season.

Coincidentally, Edwards County and Robinson will both be playing Charleston the next time they take the court. The Maroons will head out to face the Trojans at 9:10 a.m. on Saturday, while the Lions will play them later in the day, at 11:00 a.m.
