Atlantis won the last time they faced Rising Tide and things went their way on Monday too. Atlantis was the clear victor by a 14-5 margin over Rising Tide. Atlantis might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won eight matches by six runs or more this season.

David DeSouza Jr. made a splash no matter where he played. He looked comfortable on the mound, not allowing a single earned run and allowing only one hit over four innings pitched. He also tossed no earned runs, which is notable because Atlantis is 5-2 when he allows at most one earned run, but 3-5 otherwise. DeSouza Jr. was also stellar in the batter's box, getting on base in three of his five plate appearances with two runs, one stolen base, and two RBI. He has been hot, having posted at least one stolen base the last five times he's played.

In other batting news, Devon Paradise was incredible, getting on base in three of his four plate appearances with three stolen bases, two runs, and one double. Those three stolen bases gave him a new career-high. Anthony Furtado was another key player, getting on base in two of his four plate appearances with three stolen bases, one run, and one RBI.

Atlantis now has a winning record of 8-7. As for Rising Tide, they dropped their record down to 0-11 with the loss, which was their 15th straight on the road dating back to last season.

Coming up, Atlantis will challenge Cape Cod RVT at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Rising Tide, they will look to defend their home field on Tuesday against Monomoy at 4:00 p.m. The Sharks' pitching crew has only allowed 3.7 runs per game this season, so Rising Tide's hitters will have their work cut out for them.
