The Wiseburn- Da Vinci Wolves will be taking part in a tournament against the Bell Eagles at 7:15 p.m. on Friday. The two teams are strolling into their contests after big wins in their previous games.
On Wednesday, Wiseburn- Da Vinci made easy work of Firebaugh and carried off an 11-1 victory.
Thomas Carpenter was a major factor no matter where he played. He looked comfortable on the mound, pitching two innings while giving up just one earned run off one hit. Carpenter was even better at the plate, going 2-for-3 with one home run, three RBI, and two runs. That's the most runs he has posted since back in April of 2025.
In other pitching news, Lyriq Jordan looked comfortable as he tossed one inning while giving up no earned runs or hits.

Wiseburn- Da Vinci was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .421. That was just more of the same: they've now posted a batting average of .333 or higher in five consecutive games dating back to last season.
Meanwhile, while Bell put up some runs on Saturday, the same can't be said for Maywood CES. The Eagles were the clear victors by a 9-0 margin over the Wolfpack. The win continues a trend for the Eagles in their matchups with the Wolfpack: they've now won five in a row.
Jayden Rojas made a big impact while hitting and pitching. He didn't allow a single earned run and allowed only two hits while striking out 11 over five innings pitched. Rojas was also solid in the batter's box, going 1-for-3 with two runs and two RBI.
In other pitching news, Manuel Pasillas got the start for Bell and what a start it was: he tossed two innings while giving up no earned runs or hits.
Back at the plate, Bell let David Gonzalez and Armando Aguilar run wild. Gonzalez went a perfect 4-for-4 with three runs, one triple, and one double, while Aguilar went 2-for-3 with one home run, two runs, and one stolen base. The team also got some help courtesy of Gustavo Ramirez, who went a perfect 2-for-2 with one stolen base and two RBI.
