Volleyball Recap: Thrall Comes Up Short

Thrall was the 3-0 winner over Giddings when they last played one another back in August of 2024, but their luck changed this time around. The Tigers fell 3-1 to the Buffaloes on Tuesday. The Tigers have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Thrall started the match hot and won the first set, but they struggled down the stretch and lost the last three. The final score came out to 25-27, 26-24, 25-8, 25-22.

Thrall's defeat dropped their record down to 10-4. As for Giddings, they are on a roll lately: they've won six of their last seven games. That's provided a nice bump to their 9-12 record this season.

Thrall will challenge Port Neches-Groves at 2:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Giddings, they will host Clear Lake at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday.
