Basketball Recap: Logan/Palco Drops Highest Score of Season Against Triplains/Brewster

Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Logan/Palco). They walked away with a 45-34 victory over the Triplains/Brewster Titans on Saturday. Logan/Palco hasn't had any issues with Triplains/Brewster recently, as the game was their ninth consecutive win against them.

Logan/Palco was led to victory by Graci Bliss and Hailey McClurg. Bliss went 6 of 10 en route to 17 points, while McClurg posted 11 points and five steals. What's more, Bliss also posted a 60% shooting accuracy, which is the highest she's posted since back in February of 2024. Lylah Voss was another key player, putting up five points and eight rebounds.

Logan/Palco's victory bumped their record up to 4-12. As for Triplains/Brewster, they are on a 20-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-14.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Logan/Palco will venture away from home to face off against Plainville at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Logan/Palco is facing Plainville at the right time seeing as Plainville is stuck on a five-game losing streak. As for Triplains/Brewster, they will face off against St. Francis at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Triplains/Brewster has been getting the ball to fall more lately as they've increased their point totals each of their last three games.
