Soccer Game Preview: Indian River Charter vs. South Fork

The Indian River Charter Wolves will look to take advantage of their home pitch for the first time this season as they take on the South Fork Bulldogs at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday. Indian River Charter's offense has struggled lately (the team hasn't scored more than a single goal for four straight games), a trend the team is no doubt ready to end.

Indian River Charter fell victim to St. Edward's and their airtight defense on Tuesday. They lost 7-0 to the Pirates.

Meanwhile, South Fork waltzed into their match on Wednesday with four straight wins... but they left with five. Their defense stepped up to hand the Brahmans a 7-0 shutout. The result was nothing new for South Fork, who have now won four contests by four goals or more so far this season.

South Fork's win bumped their record up to 6-1. As for Indian River Charter, their loss dropped their record down to 1-3.
