Volleyball Recap: Spalding Comes Up Short

Spalding was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their 12th straight loss. They lost 3-0 to the Trinity Christian Lions. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Lions this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 2-0 back in September.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-10, 25-8, 25-9.

Spalding's defeat dropped their record down to 1-19. As for Trinity Christian, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won 15 of their last 17 matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 23-9 record this season.

Spalding does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Trinity Christian, they didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 3-0 win against Sandy Creek on the 11th.
