Soccer Recap: St. Francis Comes Up Short

It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact St. Francis can now relate to. They lost 3-0 to the St. Mary's Lancers on Thursday. The matchup was a close 1-0 at the break, but unfortunately for St. Francis it sure didn't stay that way.

St. Francis' defeat dropped their record down to 6-11-1. As for St. Mary's, the victory (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 10-6-1.

St. Francis does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for St. Mary's, they will head out on the road to square off against Canisius at 3:00 p.m. on Monday. St. Mary's defense better be ready for this one: Canisius have averaged an impressive 4.3 goals per game this season.
