Southern Nash is a perfect 10-0 against Franklinton since April of 2021 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Thursday. The Firebirds will head out to take on the Red Rams at 6:00 p.m.

Southern Nash is coming in off a wild two-game stretch: after soaring to seven goals two weeks ago, they were much more limited against Northern Nash on Tuesday. They lost 4-0 to the Knights. Southern Nash haven't had much luck with Northern Nash recently, as the team has come up short the last four times they've met.

Meanwhile, Franklinton was not the first on the board on Tuesday, but they got there more often. They beat Rocky Mount by a goal, winning 2-1. The victory continues a trend for Franklinton in their matchups with Rocky Mount: they've now won six in a row.

Hannah Wilson and Isabella Kelly scored both of Franklinton's goals, bringing their combined season tally to 23 goals.

Franklinton's win bumped their record up to 6-7-1. As for Southern Nash, their defeat dropped their record down to 12-7.

Southern Nash beat Franklinton by a goal in their previous meeting on April 1st, winning 2-1. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Firebirds since the team won't have the home-pitch advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
