Volleyball Game Preview: McKinley Red Dragons vs. Lakeview Bulldogs

McKinley is 0-10 against Lakeview since September of 2020 but things could change on Tuesday. The Red Dragons will head out on the road to face off against the Bulldogs at 7:00 p.m. The two teams are strolling into their matches after big wins in their previous games.

On Monday, McKinley made easy work of Lordstown and carried off a 3-0 victory. The win continues a trend for the Red Dragons in their matchups with the Red Devils: they've now won five in a row.

While McKinley might've won, it sure wasn't easy: Lordstown scored at least 19 points in every set they played. The match finished with set scores of 25-23, 25-19, 25-22.

The home team had come away the winner the last four times Lakeview and Girard had met, but sadly for the fans who attended this one that wasn't the case. The Bulldogs blew past the Indians 3-0 on Thursday.

While Lakeview won a shutout, things came down to the wire in the first set they played. The final score came out to 25-22, 25-16, 25-20.

Lakeview's victory bumped their record up to 10-7. As for McKinley, their win bumped their record up to 6-10.

McKinley suffered a grim 3-0 defeat to Lakeview in their previous meeting on September 4th. Can the Red Dragons avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
