Basketball Recap: Briarwood Christian Comes Up Short

After flying high against Shelby County last Thursday, Briarwood Christian came back down to earth. The Briarwood Christian Lions came up short against the Northridge Jaguars on Saturday, falling 74-49. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest loss the Lions have suffered since December 22, 2023.

Briarwood Christian's defeat dropped their record down to 16-8. As for Northridge, the victory was the third in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 18-7.

Briarwood Christian will take on Sylacauga at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Northridge, they will square off against Paul W. Bryant at 7:30 p.m. on Friday.
