Baseball Recap: Sheboygan North Takes a Loss

Sheboygan North fell victim to West De Pere and their airtight pitching crew on Friday. They came up short against the Phantoms, falling 6-0.

Sheboygan North got a good showing from Alonzo Pena, who tossed 2.1 innings while giving up no earned runs off two hits. The dominant performance also gave Pena a new career-low in walks (zero).

At the plate, Sheboygan North saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Mark Williams, who went 1-for-3 with one double.

Sheboygan North's loss was their third straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 8-17. As for West De Pere, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won six of their last seven matches. That's provided a massive bump to their 12-8 record this season.

As of now, neither Sheboygan North nor West De Pere have any future games scheduled.
