Baseball Recap: Salesian Takes a Loss

Salesian lost against Monsignor Farrell back in April of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Eagles took a 5-2 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Lions.

Salesian saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Noel Zambrana, who went 2-for-3 with one stolen base and one run.

Salesian dropped their record down to 3-10 with the defeat, which was their seventh straight on the road dating back to last season. As for Monsignor Farrell, the win was the fourth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 5-2.

Coming up, Salesian will look to defend their home field on Thursday against St. Joseph-by-the-Sea at 12:00 p.m. As for Monsignor Farrell, they will face off against Cardinal Spellman at 12:00 p.m. on Thursday.
