Football Recap: Mays Comes Up Short + How To Watch

Mays was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their fourth straight loss dating back to last season. They were beaten by the Douglass Astros 34-0. The Raiders were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Astros apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in August of 2024.

Mays' loss dropped their record down to 0-3. As for Douglass, their victory (their first of the season) made their record 1-2.

Mays will have a little extra prep time after the defeat as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on Pace Academy at 7:30 p.m. on September 12. As for Douglass, they will be playing at home against Columbia at 8:00 p.m. on Friday.
