Football Recap: Dynamic Duo of Dominic Walters and Skyler Sadowski Lead Fort Leboeuf to Victory

After having lost a blowout in their previous game against General McLane, Fort LeBoeuf was happy to have turned things around on Friday. They came out on top against the Fairview Tigers by a score of 32-21. The Bison pushed the score to 29-7 by the end of the third, a deficit the Tigers cut but never quite recovered from.

Fort LeBoeuf was led to victory by Skyler Sadowski and Dominic Walters. Sadowski rushed for 135 yards and a pair of touchdowns, while Walters rushed for 91 yards and two TDs. Sadowski's rushing production has been exceptional recently as that marked his fourth straight game with at least 135 rushing yards.

They were just one part of a punishing run game: Fort LeBoeuf was unstoppable on the ground and finished the game with 253 rushing yards. They are 3-1 when they've run for more than 200 yards.

Fairview's defeat shouldn't obscure the performances of Joey O'Reilly, who rushed for 41 yards and three scores, and Caden Oldach, who rushed for 105 yards on only 14 carries. Oldach also put in work on the defensive side of the ball, making seven total tackles (1.0 for loss) and defending one pass.

Fort LeBoeuf now has a winning record of 4-3. As for Fairview, they dropped their record down to 2-5 with the loss, which was their fourth straight at home.
