Baseball Recap: Hemingway Takes a Loss

Hemingway fell victim to Johnsonville and their airtight pitching crew on Friday. They came up short against the Flashes, falling 16-0. The Tigers have struggled against the Flashes recently, as the game was their sixth consecutive lost meeting.

Hemingway's defeat dropped their record down to 1-6. As for Johnsonville, their victory was their fifth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 9-3.

Coincidentally, Hemingway and Johnsonville will both be playing Hannah-Pamplico the next time they take the field. The Flashes will host the Raiders at 6:00 p.m. on Monday, while the Tigers will head out to face them at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday.
