Basketball Recap: Humble Christian Takes a Loss

Humble Christian was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They were beaten by the Annapolis Christian Academy Warriors 93-49. The Cougars were in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 46-19.

Jake Gwaltney continued his habit of posting crazy stat lines for Annapolis Christian Academy, dropping a double-double on 34 points and 17 boards. That's the most rebounds Gwaltney has posted since back in November of 2024. Noah Riojas was another key player, going 7 of 11 en route to 18 points and seven assists.

Humble Christian's defeat dropped their record down to 8-7. As for Annapolis Christian Academy, their victory ended a five-game drought on the road dating back to last season and puts them at 13-10.

Humble Christian does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Annapolis Christian Academy, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next game, a 66-47 win against School of the Woods on the 25th.
