Volleyball Recap: Vintage Comes Up Short

Vintage was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their fifth straight loss dating back to last season. They were a single set away from ending the streak, but they lost a 2-1 heartbreaker at the hands of the Rio Americano Raiders.

Vintage's defeat dropped their record down to 0-4. As for Rio Americano, the victory (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 3-0.

Vintage wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next matchup, a 2-0 win against St. Patrick-St. Vincent on the 23rd. As for Rio Americano, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 2-0 victory against Ukiah on the 23rd.
