Football Recap: Saint Viator Comes Up Short

After flying high against Grayslake Central on Wednesday, Saint Viator came back down to earth. The Lions took a 13-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Carmel Corsairs on Saturday.

Saint Viator's defeat dropped their record down to 1-1. As for Carmel, their win was their fifth straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 3-0.

Saint Viator didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next game, an 18-13 victory against Marist on the 30th. As for Carmel, they have also already played their next match, a 26-0 win against Benet Academy on the 30th.
