Volleyball Recap: Williams Field Falls Short Against Ranked Highland + How To Watch

Williams Field faced Highland in a battle between two of the state's top teams on Tuesday. The Black Hawks came up short against the Hawks, falling 3-0. The Black Hawks haven't had much luck with the Hawks recently, as the team has come up short the last four times they've met.

While Williams Field was not able to make it on the board, they still kept things close, especially in the first set. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 26-24, 25-16, 25-9.

Camryn Thruston was the offensive standout of the matchup as she had ten digs and five assists. That's the most assists she has posted over her last seven contests. Isabella Stojkovic also deserves some recognition as she had her first block of the season.

Williams Field's defeat dropped their record down to 11-7. As for Highland, they pushed their record up to 12-3 with the win, which was their third straight on the road.
