Volleyball Recap: Williams Field Takes a Loss + How To Watch

Williams Field lost against Highland back in October of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Black Hawks lost 3-0 to the Hawks. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest defeat the Black Hawks have suffered since November 7, 2024.

While Williams Field was not able to make it on the board, they still kept things close, especially in the first set. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 26-24, 25-16, 25-9.

Tatum Clay paced Williams Field's offense, picking up nine kills. Clay got some help from Makenna Mooney and her 19 assists. Finally, Clay was also a dominant defender, finishing with a team-high three blocks.

Camryn Thruston was the offensive standout of the contest as she had ten digs and five assists. That's the most assists she has posted over her last seven matches. Isabella Stojkovic also deserves some recognition as she had her first block of the season.

Williams Field is on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 11-7. As for Highland, they pushed their record up to 12-3 with the victory, which was their third straight on the road.

Williams Field wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next matchup, a 3-2 win against Gilbert on the 25th. As for Highland, they have also already played their next contest, a 3-0 victory against Queen Creek on the 25th.
