Basketball Recap: Hamilton Comes Up Short

Hamilton was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their fifth straight loss. They lost 52-26 to the California Military Institute Rough Riders. Sadly, that's the second time they've come up short against the Bobcats this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 61-31 back in December of 2024.

Despite the loss, Hamilton still got an impressive performance from Gustavo Villalobos, who posted 12 points.

Hamilton's defeat dropped their record down to 5-11. As for California Military Institute, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 10-9.

Hamilton has already played their next match, a 61-26 loss against Bethel Christian on the 25th. As for California Military Institute, they will square off against Desert Christian Academy at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday. California Military Institute has been getting the ball to fall more lately as they've increased their point totals each of their last three games.
