Canyon Lake will start their season against the China Spring Cougars. Kickoff is scheduled at 3:00 p.m. on Thursday.

It was a proper cat-fight when China Spring duked it out withWaco on Tuesday. Both finished up on equal footing with a 4-4 draw.

China Spring's draw gives them a new season record of 0-0-2.

As for Canyon Lake, they've got a clean slate this season. Last year, they had a stellar season and finished 16-7.
