Basketball Recap: Holy Names Academy Comes Up Short

Holy Names Academy lost against Garfield back in January of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Wednesday. Holy Names Academy were beaten by the Garfield Bulldogs 52-24. Holy Names Academy's loss continues a trend for the team, making it four in a row.

Holy Names Academy's defeat dropped their record down to 2-10. As for Garfield, they now have a winning record of 5-4.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Holy Names Academy will head out to face off against Lakeside at 5:00 p.m. on Saturday. Lakeside will roll in looking for their 13th straight win, something Holy Names Academy surely won't give up without a fight. As for Garfield, they will head out on the road to take on Eastside Catholic at 4:00 p.m. on Saturday. Eastside Catholic has been getting the ball to fall more lately as they've increased their point totals each of their last three games.
