Cor Jesu Academy faced Nixa in a battle between two of the state's top teams on Saturday. The Chargers never let the Eagles get on the board and left with a 5-0 win. Considering Cor Jesu Academy have won four matchups by more than two goals this season, Saturday's blowout was nothing new.

The victory (which was Cor Jesu Academy's third in a row) raised their record to 10-1. The wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored 11 goals over those three games. As for Nixa, they moved to 13-2 with that defeat, which also ended their 11-game winning streak.

Looking ahead, Cor Jesu Academy will head out to take on Ursuline Academy at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Nixa, they will be playing at home against Central at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
