There's no place like home for Clear Falls, who bounced back after a loss on the road last Tuesday. They narrowly escaped with a victory as the squad sidled past the Clear Brook Wolverines 3-1. The win was a breath of fresh air for the Knights as it put an end to their six-game losing streak.

R Holsinger spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered only one earned run on five hits. She has been nothing but reliable: she hasn't given up more than one walk in nine consecutive appearances.

At the plate, the team relied heavily on P LaFrenz, who went a perfect 3-for-3 with one double and one RBI.
