Basketball Recap: Canton's Undefeated Season over After Three Games

Canton lost against Morton back in January and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The contest between the Little Giants and the Potters didn't end well, with the Little Giants falling 59-40. The loss put an end to the Little Giants' undefeated start to the season.

Canton's defeat was their fifth straight at home dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 2-1. As for Morton, their win bumped their record up to 3-1.

Coming up, Canton will take on Monmouth-Roseville at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Morton, they will venture away from home to square off against Peoria at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. The Potters will be up against the Lions' rather soft defense (which has allowed 55 points per game), so fans could be in store for a big offensive performance.
