Volleyball Recap: Friday's Loss Ends Weiss' Winning Streak

It was a good run, but Weiss unfortunately witnessed the end of their 14-game winning streak on Friday. They took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Steele Knights. The Wolves were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Knights apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in August of 2024.

Rihanna Bryant paced Weiss' offense, picking up seven kills. Bryant got some help from Ava Jackson and her 16 assists. Finally, Addison Gottschalk kept Weiss' defense grounded, leading the team with two blocks.

Weiss' loss dropped their record down to 22-3. As for Steele, their win bumped their record up to 14-12.

Weiss is on the road again on Friday to play Smithson Valley at 2:00 p.m. The Rangers will roll in looking for their fourth straight victory, something the Wolves surely won't give up without a fight. As for Steele, they will be taking part in a tournament against Brennan at 1:00 p.m. on Friday.
