Muncy is a perfect 10-0 against Montgomery since October of 2020 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Saturday. The Indians will host the Red Raiders at 11:00 a.m. Muncy will aim to continue their three-game streak of scoring more goals each contest than the last.

Muncy's defense heads into the matchup hoping to repeat the dominance they displayed on Tuesday. They blew past Sullivan County 11-0. Considering Muncy have won six matches by more than three goals this season, Tuesday's blowout was nothing new.

Their offense was hitting Sullivan County from everywhere, as five different players booted in a goal. Ava Eyer led that balanced group of strikers and accounted for four goals all by herself.

Meanwhile, after a string of four wins, Montgomery's good fortune finally ran out on Monday. They lost 9-0 to South Williamsport. While losing is never fun, Montgomery can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Pennsylvania soccer rankings (they are ranked 319th, while South Williamsport are ranked 155th).

Montgomery's loss dropped their record down to 8-7. As for Muncy, their win bumped their record up to 11-2-1.

Muncy was able to grind out a solid victory over Montgomery when the teams last played back in September, winning 5-3. Will the Indians repeat their success, or do the Red Raiders have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
