Euclid came tearing into Monday's contest with four straight wins (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 13.5 runs), and they left with even more momentum. They blew past the John Hay Hornets 15-1. The result was nothing new for the Panthers, who have now won ten games by six runs or more so far this season.

Euclid's win bumped their record up to 11-5. As for John Hay, they now have a losing record of 3-4.

Looking ahead, Euclid will head out to challenge Villa Angela-St. Joseph at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The Vikings have struggled to contain batters this season (they've allowed 14 runs per game on average), something the Panthers will no doubt try to take advantage of. As for John Hay, they will challenge John F. Kennedy at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
