Soccer Recap: Glenn Victorious

While Glenn's win against Ogemaw Heights wasn't quite the blowout it was the last time the pair played, they still came out on top. The Bobcats narrowly escaped with a victory as the team sidled past the Falcons 2-1. That's more bragging rights for Glenn, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.

The win made it two in a row for Glenn and bumps their season record up to 5-3-1. Those victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored ten goals over those two matches. As for Ogemaw Heights, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-3-1.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Glenn will face off against Freeland at 7:00 p.m. on Monday. Freeland's last three games have been decided by no more than a goal, so don't be surprised if it's a close one. As for Ogemaw Heights, they will take on Pinconning at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday.
