Basketball Recap: Northland Lutheran Takes a Loss

Northland Lutheran lost against Wild Rose back in January of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Northland Lutheran Wildcats had to suffer through a 83-48 loss at the hands of the Wild Rose Wildcats. While losing is never fun, Northland Lutheran can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Wisconsin basketball rankings (they are ranked 401st, while Wild Rose is ranked 198th).

When it comes to explaining why Northland Lutheran lost, don't look at Josslin Adams. Despite the final result, she dropped a double-double on 30 points and 13 rebounds. That was a full 62.5% of Northland Lutheran's points, marking the third time in a row she's posted more than a third of the team's points.

Northland Lutheran's defeat dropped their record down to 3-5. As for Wild Rose, their win was their third straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 6-3.

Northland Lutheran didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 51-24 victory against Elcho on the 6th. As for Wild Rose, they will head out to square off against Tri-County at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday.
