Football Recap: Freedom Life Academy Takes a Loss

Freedom Life Academy faced Midstate Homeschool in a battle between two of the state's top teams on Thursday. The Patriots were outmatched by the Storm and fell 63-6. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Storm this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 58-6 back in August.

Gavin Solomon threw for 29 yards on seven of 17 attempts. On the ground, Cameron Beauboeuf rushed for 65 yards and one touchdown on only seven carries.

Freedom Life Academy is on a six-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-7. As for Midstate Homeschool, their victory bumped their record up to 5-3.

We've got plenty of inter-district action coming up soon. Freedom Life Academy will challenge rival Mount Olive Christian at 7:00 p.m. on the 11th. Meanwhile, Midstate Homeschool is set to take on their familiar foe First Baptist Christian at 7:00 p.m. on Monday.
