It can be hard to translate regular season success to the playoffs, but Western Alamance had no problem doing just that on Monday. They enjoyed a cozy 64-48 victory over the Terry Sanford Bulldogs. The win was nothing new for the Warriors as they're now sitting on ten straight.

Western Alamance had a senior duo take command as Tina Bowers almost dropped a double-double with 24 points and nine rebounds and Allie Sykes shot 60% from the field en route to 28 points. The matchup was Sykes' sixth in a row with at least 16 points. Another player making a difference was Cayden White, who posted two points along with 16 boards and three blocks.

Despite the loss, Terry Sanford saw an underclassman step up: sophomore Jaidiah Blake dropped a double-double with 22 points and ten rebounds. Blake has been hot recently, having posted nine or more boards the last four times she's played. The team also got some help courtesy of Ameya Brown, who earned ten points.

Western Alamance pushed their record up to 27-4 with the victory, which was their eighth straight at home. Those victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 70.5 points over those games. As for Terry Sanford, their defeat ended an eight-game streak of away wins and brought them to 27-4.

As of now, neither Western Alamance nor Terry Sanford have any future games scheduled.
