Makayla Hayes Drops League-Best Effort on Thursday

Starting off the list is Faith Christian's Makayla Hayes, who we judged to be the best player in the league this week. Hayes picked up 153 receiving yards and one touchdown.

Faith Christian is on a four-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-3. Looking ahead, Hayes and Faith Christian are taking a road trip to take on Lyman at 6:00 p.m. on Friday.

Madelyn Depetrillo and Co. Win Third in a Row

Madelyn DePetrillo was instrumental in extending Nature Coast Tech's winning streak to three on Wednesday. DePetrillo made her presence known, throwing for 152 yards and three touchdowns while completing 72.7% of her passes. She didn't just play on offense: she also made one tackle and defended four passes.

This year, DePetrillo has thrown 7 touchdowns while averaging 165.7 passing yards per game. That doesn't tell the whole story though: at this point last year, she was only averaging 9.67 rushing yards per game. This year she is averaging 16 rushing yards.

Hernando came out on top against Lecanto on Wednesday thanks in part to Kenderlyn Hart's efforts. Hart made her presence known, picking up 42 receiving yards and one touchdown.

The victory made it two in a row for Hernando and bumps their season record up to a perfect 2-0. Coming up, Hart and Hernando will challenge Weeki Wachee at 6:00 p.m. on Monday.

Gamescore: 26.53

Dunnellon came out on top against Vanguard on Thursday thanks in part to Tony'Ah Boggs's efforts. Boggs was in on the action, rushing for 85 yards, while also throwing for 17 yards and one touchdown.

Dunnellon now has a winning record of 2-1. Boggs and Dunnellon will have some time to savor their victory since their next game is a little ways off: they'll take on West Port at 5:00 p.m. on March 13th.

Big Game from Grant As Hernando Won 20-6

Another Hernando player making an appearance on this list is Carlie Grant. She threw for 89 yards and two touchdowns, and also caught one touchdown.
