Softball Recap: Page's Win Ends Eight-Game Losing Streak on the Road

Page's game last Friday was a loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Wednesday. They were the clear victors by a 24-11 margin over the Western Guilford Hornets. The high-scoring effort was just what the Pirates needed considering they were shut out in their previous contest.

Page's victory ended an eight-game drought on the road dating back to last season and puts them at 2-9. As for Western Guilford, they dropped their record down to 3-14 with the defeat, which was their seventh straight at home.
