The Bunker Hill Bears will head out to take on the Lincolnton Wolves at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Bunker Hill is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 6.6 runs per game this season.

Bunker Hill will roll into the match after a wild two-game stretch: they only put up one run on Tuesday, then bounced right back against Newton-Conover on Friday. Bunker Hill put the hurt on Newton-Conover with a sharp 11-1 victory. The win continues a trend for the Bears in their matchups with the Red Devils: they've now won seven in a row.

Kylie Killian spent all five innings played on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered only one earned run on eight hits.

At the plate, Bunker Hill let Kyra Ryhal and Alexis Stuebe run wild. Ryhal went 2-for-3 with one triple, two RBI, and one run, while Stuebe scored a run while going 3-for-4. That triple was Ryhal's first of the season. The team also got some help courtesy of Jaslynn Cook, who scored three runs while going 3-for-3.

Meanwhile, Lincolnton lost 11-1 to Maiden on Friday. The Wolves have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Bunker Hill's victory was their seventh straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 7-3. Those wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 7.4 runs over those games. As for Lincolnton, their loss dropped their record down to 4-7.

Everything went Bunker Hill's way against Lincolnton in their previous matchup on March 4th, as Bunker Hill made off with an 11-1 victory. The rematch might be a little tougher for Bunker Hill since the team won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
