Baseball Game Preview: Buckeye Central Bucks vs. Mapleton Mounties

Buckeye Central is on a four-game streak of home losses, and Mapleton a 14-game streak of away losses dating back to last season. However, someone's due for a change in luck on Saturday. The Buckeye Central Bucks will host the Mapleton Mounties at 11:00 a.m. Having both just faced considerable losses, both teams are looking to turn things around.

Buckeye Central couldn't beat Plymouth on Friday even though they stacked six runs on them in the fourth inning. The Bucks lost 21-11 to the Big Red.

Mapleton had taken Western Reserve down for two straight games at home, but that winning streak came to an end on Tuesday. The Mounties came up short against the Roughriders, falling 17-3.

Mapleton saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Ethan Dennison, who went 1-for-3 with one run.

Buckeye Central's loss dropped their record down to 4-13. As for Mapleton, their defeat dropped their record down to 0-14.
