Football Recap: King Starts Season with Win Against Morgan Park

King gave their fans exactly what they wanted out of a home opener on Monday. They blew past the Morgan Park Mustangs 50-0. That's more bragging rights for the Jaguars, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.

King's defense made their presence known, laying out the QB eight times. The heavy lifting was done by Fredrenae Nelson and Kaleeya Anderson, who racked up all eight sacks between them.

King and Morgan Park will both get their first taste of in-conference action in their upcoming games. The Jaguars are set to challenge their familiar foe Back of the Yards College Prep at 6:03 p.m. on Wednesday. Meanwhile, Morgan Park will square off against rival Mansueto at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday.
