Troy came tearing into Tuesday's game with 11 straight wins (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 10.1 runs), and they left with even more momentum. They blew past the West Carrollton Pirates 10-4. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 18-2 on April 2nd.

Riley King looked comfortable as she tossed four innings while giving up just one earned run off five hits. She has been consistent for a while: she hasn't given up more than two walks in 13 consecutive appearances.

At the plate, Mimi Shaw was incredible, getting on base in three of her five plate appearances with two stolen bases, two runs, and two RBI. She has been hot recently, having posted at least one stolen base the last three times she's played. Amara Erbaugh also deserves some recognition as she hit her first triple of the season.

Troy pushed their record up to 13-3 with the victory, which was their fifth straight on the road. Those road wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 12.4 runs over those games. As for West Carrollton, they are on a six-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-5.

Troy didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next matchup, an 8-3 defeat against Tippecanoe on the 23rd. As for West Carrollton, they have also already played their next contest, a 20-8 loss against Sidney on the 23rd.
