Basketball Recap: Hesperia Comes Up Short

Hesperia was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their 28th straight defeat dating back to last season. They took a blow against the Hart Pirates, falling 79-9. The Panthers were in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 52-3.

Hesperia's loss dropped their record down to 0-15. As for Hart, the win (which was their 13th in a row) raised their record to 16-1.

Coming up, Hesperia will host Holton at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Hart has already played their next contest (against Western Michigan Christian), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
