Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Eastern). They blew past the Meigs Marauders 55-17 on Monday. The victory was some much needed relief for the Eagles as it spelled an end to their 11-game losing streak.

Eastern's win ended a seven-game drought on the road and puts them at 2-16. As for Meigs, their defeat was their ninth straight at home, which dropped their record down to 1-17.

Eastern will welcome Southern at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. Eastern is facing Southern at the right time seeing as Southern is stuck on an eight-game losing streak. Meigs has already played their next matchup, a 50-10 loss against Alexander on the 4th.
