Basketball Recap: W.S. Neal Snaps Three-Game Streak of Losses at Home

W.S. Neal hasn't had quite the year their fans were hoping for to this point, but back-to-back wins may be a sign of good things to come. They strolled past the Northview Chiefs with points to spare on Monday, taking the game 52-34. This was a revenge game for the Eagles: when they faced off against the Chiefs back in December of 2024, they had to take a 52-42 loss.

Despite the defeat, Northview saw an underclassman step up: sophomore Daviona Randolph posted 15 points. That was a full 44.1% of Northview's points, marking the third time in a row she's had more than a third of the team's points.

W.S. Neal's win ended a three-game drought at home and bumped them up to 6-15. As for Northview, their loss was their 11th straight on the road dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 2-11.

W.S. Neal didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 40-7 defeat against Escambia County on the 14th. Northview has also already played their next game, a 56-37 loss against Tate on the 16th.
