Soccer Recap: Valor North Austin Falls to Idea Pflugerville in First Game of Season

Valor North Austin unfortunately couldn't capitalize on their home-pitch advantage in their season opener. They lost 3-0 to the Idea Pflugerville Wizards on Saturday. The Lions have struggled against the Wizards recently, as the game was their third consecutive lost matchup.

The victory was the third in a row for Idea Pflugerville, bringing their record for this year to 3-1.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Valor North Austin will have a little extra prep time after the loss as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on KIPP Austin Collegiate at 9:00 a.m. on March 8th. As for Idea Pflugerville, they will square off against IDEA Parmer Park at 5:30 p.m. on Wednesday.
