Softball Recap: University Charter Takes a Loss

If University Charter was riding high fresh off their 19-5 takedown of Keith on Wednesday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Trail Blazers took a 10-5 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Hale County Wildcats on Thursday. The Trail Blazers haven't had much luck with the Wildcats recently, as the team has come up short the last three times they've met.

University Charter's defeat dropped their record down to 13-10. As for Hale County, they are on a roll lately: they've won eight of their last nine matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 10-7 record this season.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. University Charter will face off against Sweet Water at 4:30 p.m. on Monday. As for Hale County, they will venture away from home to take on Gordo at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
