Basketball Game Preview: Century Centurions vs. Magnolia Sentinels

The Century Centurions will head out to face off against the Magnolia Sentinels at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. Magnolia took a loss in their last contest and will be looking to turn the tables on Century, who comes in off a win.

On Tuesday, the stars were shining brightly for Century in a 47-28 victory over Santa Ana Valley.

Meanwhile, Magnolia was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They had to suffer through a 68-32 loss at the hands of Pacifica. While losing is never fun, the Sentinels can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' California basketball rankings (they are ranked 1159th, while the Mariners are ranked 442nd).

Magnolia's loss dropped their record down to 2-7. As for Century, their win bumped their record up to 6-1.

Century came up short against Magnolia in their previous meeting back in January, falling 46-41. Can Century avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
