Basketball Recap: Fieldcrest's Loss Ends 15-Game Winning Streak on the Road

Fieldcrest lost against El Paso-Gridley last Friday and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Fieldcrest Knights fell 67-56 to the El Paso-Gridley Titans.

Fieldcrest's loss ended a 15-game streak of away wins dating back to last season and brought them to 16-6. As for El Paso-Gridley, the win was the fifth in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 17-5.

Fieldcrest and El Paso-Gridley should be looking forward to their upcoming games as both have a sizable advantage in the MaxPreps Illinois Rankings. Fieldcrest will face off against Ridgeview at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday up 362 places (143 vs. 505). Fieldcrest is looking to tack on another W to their 15-game streak on the road dating back to last season. Meanwhile, El Paso-Gridley (ranked 111th) will meet Normal West (ranked 404th) at 4:00 p.m. on Saturday.
