Last Friday, Carl Albert took their contest with ease, bagging an 88-34 win over Guymon. The Titans have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won ten games by 20 points or more this season.

Meanwhile, Santa Fe South was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their fourth straight defeat. They came up short against Elgin, falling 73-52. While losing is never fun, the Saints can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Oklahoma basketball rankings (they are ranked 398th, while the Owls are ranked 190th).

The victory made it two in a row for Carl Albert and bumps their season record up to 15-6. Those victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 82.5 points over those games. As for Santa Fe South, their loss dropped their record down to 1-18.

Everything came up roses for Carl Albert against Santa Fe South in their previous meeting back in December of 2024, as the squad secured a 78-43 win. The rematch might be a little tougher for Carl Albert since the team won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
